BODi’s 21 Day Fix Super Block Review: What this version is all about

BODi’s 21 Day Fix super block is the newest update to the popular program. If you’re a fan of Autumn Calabrese’s 21 Day Fix workouts you are going to love the new version of the program. I’m so excited about this remake!

21 Day Fix is the workout I started out with all those years ago when I first joined Beachbody, (which has recently rebranded to BODi). That program was a challenge for me then and I’m excited to see how much more challenging this Super Block is going to be now.

What is BODi’s 21 Day Fix Super Block?

In the 21 Day Fix Super Block, you’ll work your entire body with two days of cardio workouts and 3 days of strength training each week. There’s a modifier in every workout to help make it accessible for all fitness levels. 

Here’s the lineup of the program:

MONDAY: Total Body Cardio Fix

High reps will get your heart pumping and fat burning in this fun sweat fest. Keep up with Autumn and focus on form to optimize your results.

TUESDAY: Upper Fix

Your chest, core, back, and arms are the targets of this strength workout. You’ll feel yourself getting stronger with every rep.


You’ll feel the burn in your lower half as you power through some of Autumn’s favorite moves for sculpting your legs. 

THURSDAY: Cardio Fix

No dumbbells are needed for this bodyweight cardio workout. A fast-paced workout that will leave you sweaty.

FRIDAY: Dirty 30

Autumn turns up the intensity and the fun in this 30-minute workout to ramp up your progress and help you feel amazing.  

What is a Super Block?

A Super Block is when a Super Trainer remakes one of their most popular programs in the BODi Block format. 

I’m SO excited about these Super Blocks because we get another version of programs we love.

The first Super Block released was Healthy Obsession which was a remake of my favorite program 80 Day Obsession. Healthy Obsession did not disappoint and that is why I can wait for 21 Day Fix Super Block to come out!

What is BODi?

Beachbody has recently rebranded to BODi (Beachbody on Demand Interactive). The philosophy behind BODi is accepting and embracing the person you are today and championing who you wish to become.

The name Beachbody wasn’t congruent with the philosophy of the company. So they are starting over with a new name, BODi.

How are the workouts structured?

  • 30 minutes a day 
  • 5 days a week for 3 weeks 
  • The 4th week is a UP Week (with 2 workouts) 
  • Modifier for every move

What Equipment do you need?

Minimal equipment is needed for this workout. You’ll want to have a pair of light, medium, and heavy dumbbells.  A mat is optional but you may want to have one if you are working out on hard surfaces. 

Who is the 21 Day Fix Super Block For?

The 21 Day Fix Super Block is for anyone who wants to get their sweat on, become stronger, challenge themselves, and lose weight. 

What is UP week?

The fourth week of the Super Block is called UP Week. UP stands for Unconditional Progress. This is the week your body recovers. 

You can take time off or do the 2 optional workouts to keep up your progress going. While giving your body time to repair. 

You have the option to do 2 additional Super Block workouts on your calendar, check out the Sample Workout from next month’s Super Block, or take the week off!

Is there a nutrition plan?

I’m excited about the 21 Day Fix Super Block from BODi. When I firsted joined, what was then Beachbody four years ago, 21-Day Fix was the first program I tried and completed. 

I love Autumn’s training style and her motivational pep talk. Some of her workouts can be intense but they are worth it and you will see the results if you put the work in!
