XB Sweat and Sculpt Beachbody Review
XB Sweat and Sculpt is a fun dance and sculpting workout from Andrea Rodgers. It’s a 3-week program that’ll have you feeling lean, toned, and strong. If you’re wanting to move your body and have fun while you’re doing it, this program is for you.
To be honest I haven’t completed this program yet. But I have tried the sample workout to see what it’s like. Though dance workouts aren’t my favorite I’m still going to try the program out. It’s only three weeks long, so I think I can stick with it.
What is XB Sweat + Sculpt?
The Sweat portion of XB Sweat and Sculpt alternates between cardio and sculpting intervals. The cardio-dance intervals are fun and have low-impact moves.
These moves get your heart rate up and keep you moving. For the sculpting intervals, you’ll focus on slower, more controlled muscle-defining exercises.
The Sculpt workouts focus on your upper, lower, or total body. You’ll do challenging moves that target specific muscle groups to help you strengthen from head to toe.
After each Sculpt session, you’ll end with a 5-10 minute core circuit to help you define your abs and obliques.

Tips for Success in XB Sweat and Sculpt
- Let go of perfection
- Don’t quit
- Follow a nutrition plan
- Find accountability
Let Go of Perfection
I don’t know about you but I have two left feet when it comes to dancing. I feel awkward doing dance programs and usually avoid these types of workouts at all costs. One reason why I avoid dance programs is that I feel like I’m doing the moves wrong so I give up, hello perfectionism.
But I have come to realize that I am the only one in my garage doing these dance moves. Once I realized that I started having fun and not caring how goofy I looked. So if you aren’t sure about this program because you are a perfectionist like myself, stop worrying. As long as you’re moving you will get in a good workout.
Don’t Quit
If you have been working out for a while you may feel like this program is not challenging enough for you. But stick with it. I’m told it gets more challenging as it progresses.
Follow a nutrition plan
I always say this when I’m writing a review but it’s the truth! No matter how much exercise you do, you will not see the results you are looking for unless you are making good choices.
You have the option to follow a Beachbody nutrition plan like Portion Fix or 2B Mindset. But if these programs don’t work for you pick one that does. A nutrition plan I’m fond of is Whole30.
Find Accountability
Having an accountability partner can help you stay focused and consistent with your plan. They can help you stay on track by helping you set realistic goals, creating a plan for reaching those goals, and encouraging you to stick to it.
Having someone to stay accountable to can be a tremendous help when you’re on a health journey. When you sign up for a Beachbody membership you’ll get access to my ongoing accountability group. We are a group of women who support and encourage each other while keeping ourselves accountable to our goals:)

The Last Thing You Need to Know about XB Sweat and Sculpt
I am not a fan of cardio workouts. If I could strength train every day I would be so happy. But I know cardio is good for you. Though I haven’t done the program yet, XB Sweat and Sculpt is appealing because you get your cardio workout done with dance moves instead of burpees.
When I tried the sample workout I felt silly dancing around. But I realized no one was watching me, so who cared what I looked like! When I stopped caring about how I looked I was able to make sure I kept moving to keep my heart rate up and burn calories.
