Whole30 Air Fryer Recipes: 30 Delicious Recipes
30 of the Best Whole30 Air Fryer Recipes
This past Christmas my lovely sister-in-law gifted us an Air Fryer. I have been wanting one for a long time and my wish was finally granted! But now that I have it what do I do with it? I know the air fryer is a healthier way to make meals. So I started searching for recipes in my favorite category, Whole30.
So far, I have done 5 rounds of Whole30. Many of the recipes I find from my favorite Whole30 bloggers are delicious. So I thought I needed to create a list of delicious Whole30 air fryer recipes. And I wanted to share these with you to cut down on searching for delicious Whole30 air fryer recipes.
What is exactly is an Air Fryer?
It’s a convection oven that sits on your countertop. Like a convection oven air fryers bake food at a high temperature with a high-powered fan. It’s like a deep fryer without all the oil. Making it a healthier option when making crispy foods.
The Air Fryer I Use
The air fryer I have is an Instapot Duo Crisp Air Fryer. I love this thing because it is an Instapot pressure cooker and an air fryer in one. So if you have a small kitchen or not a lot of space, this is the air fryer you should get.
The Instapot Duo can:
- Air fry
- Pressure cook
- Saute
- Slow Cook
- Steam
- Sous Vide
- Roast
- Bake
- Broil
- Dehydrate
I have only used it a few times for the pressure cooker and air fry functions. It’s not very big and I do have to cook in batches, But for all the functions it has, it’s worth looking into. Also now that I have a list of delicious recipes I will be trying it out a lot more.

3 Benefits to Using an Air Fryer
Replace your microwave. Use your air fryer to reheat your meals. Meals heated in the microwave aren’t as tasty as when you make them fresh. When you’re on the Whole30 one thing that can help you make it through the 30 days is meal prep. But instead of reheating your prepped meals in the microwave use an air fryer. Your chicken won’t be rubbery and your veggies will still taste roasted instead of soggy.
Use less oil. A major benefit to using an air fryer versus deep frying food is you use less oil. But you do still need to lightly coat the food you’re cooking in oil. You don’t have to be afraid of using oil though. Healthy fats are good for you in moderation. So make sure the oils you are using are Whole30 compliant. Such as olive, avocado, and coconut oil. Word of caution, make sure to check spray cans of oil. I have made the mistake of using the coconut oil spray from Trader Joe’s assuming it was just coconut oil. But it had soy in it. So make sure to check your labels!
Using an air fryer will save you time. Again, meal prepping will be your friend when on a round of Whole30. Using an air fryer can help save you time. You can roast vegetables, such as potatoes, a lot faster with an air fryer. Using your air fryer along with other appliances like your oven can cut the time of meal prep in half!
Whole30 Rules
If you’re new to Whole30 it is an elimination diet lasting for 30 days. Think of it as a reset of your eating habits and relationship with food.
Eliminate these foods:
- Sugar
- Alcohol
- Grains
- Legumes
- Dairy
- Soy
- Specific additives Carrageenan, MSG, and added Sulfites
Eat a lot of:
- Proteins
- Vegetables
- Fruit
- Healthy Fats
